5/4/2020

Hello all,

First off we hope that you and your family are doing well and staying safe and healthy in these hard times.  After many talks as the board, due to the current pandemic and increase in concerns from our members, it is with heavy heart that we have decided to cancel the upcoming 2020 season. As difficult as this is, the safety and well being of all of our FAAA family is the most important.  We have hopes that we may be able to run something later in the summer that would allow the kids to be able to come out and enjoy the game. But due to the financial burdens many families are facing these days we did not want to prolong the decision any longer, and wanted to get the refunds back to you all as soon as possible.   We also hope that soccer will be able to start up and that you all will continue to be a part of the FAAA family.  We will begin issuing refunds right away. Your refund will be issued back to the account that you used to pay for your registration.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. We thank you all for your patience and understanding during these difficult times. We look forward to opening back up as soon as possible and getting the kids back out on the fields.

Thank you.

Florissant Area Athletic Association.

As the baseball/softball season approaches, FAAA is monitoring the status of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and its impact on upcoming games, events, and park operations.  The health and well being of our FAAA players, families, and everyone who visits and plays at the park are our top priority.

As of now we, there remains 1 1/2 months until our opening day and we will continue to evaluate how best to move forward based on continuing updates from health and local officials. The parks in the NCTL will stay in contact with each other to make a decision as to what the next steps will be.

FAAA encourages individuals and teams to stay informed and make intelligent decisions regarding practices and other activities leading up to the beginning of the season.

We recommend the CDC's website as a resource to learn more about COVID-19 and how best to protect you and your family.

We do have a few spots still open in certain divisions. We ask that you contact the appropriate commissioner if you are interested, to see if there is an opening.

Further status updates for FAAA programs will be communicated on our website and FaceBook.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We hope that you all stay safe and healthy during this period.
